The Ford Fusion Energi offers a robust plug-in electric system in an ultra-popular roomy full-size sedan platform. The model offers the equivalent of about 100 miles per gallon, without compromising style or passenger space. After its battery is depleted, the Fusion Energi still delivers 38 miles per gallon. A complete empty-to-full charge time for the Fusion Energi should be about 2.5 hours with a 240-volt source, and 7 hours from a standard household outlet.

Ford Fusion Energi User Reviews

  1. It’s great to find an electric car that offers good mileage while still offering a stylish and roomy design. I need a car that has plenty of space and the Ford Fusion Energi delivers. Even when the battery is empty, the car pulls through with decent mileage that won’t break your wallet. This is a sedan that saves on energy without having to saving on space.

  2. I’m not very impressed with the Ford Fusion Energi. The highway acceleration is sluggish and the electric-only range doesn’t compare with today’s standard EV. While the interior is pretty comfortable, the trunk is so small there’s almost no point! There are far better EVs on the market, I’d say keep looking.

  3. I’m a big fan of the Fusion. All around good car, nice design inside and out, and the driving is really smooth. Well it’s smooth other than the regenerative braking, which of course is a bit jittery. But you can hardly blame the Fusion for this, as most hybrids have the same issue. Other than that, a really solid car, hard to find anything wrong with it IMHO. A good investment all around.
